Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, the Night Audit will directly supervise all front office functions through the night and ensure proper completion of all Resort front office duties are executed in a timely manner
A bit about the Role
- Provide passionate, knowledgeable, and friendly service to external and internal guests, always
- Assist guests with all enquiries and complaints and provide accurate information to guests about Property facilities and features
- Check guests in and out of the Property accurately and in a timely manner
- Working closely with Front of House Team in ensuring accuracy and balancing of end of day sales, reconciliation and balancing of assigned responsibilities.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to relevant stakeholders & document all transactions and alterations to accounts
- Carry out transactions foreign currency accurately & collect payment of accounts and issue receipts accordingly
- Ensure all guest details are fully updated on internal systems
- Ensure a thorough and clear handover of information to Team Members on the following shift in order to ensure continuity of service
- Ensure effective communication between other departments and Management & completion of property specific night audit procedures.
About what we need from you
- Island based role that will be required to work on night shifts
- Tertiary qualification (degree or diploma), with a great command of written and spoken English, well presented with an eye for detail.
- 2 – 3years previous experience in a similar role and/or environment will be highly desirable with strong focus and passion for hotel operations.
- Self-starter with he ability to work in a fast-paced role, highly organised,
- An ability to understand and navigate multifaceted stakeholder requirements
- Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship, and networking skills.
- Time management skills with the ability to multitask.
- A can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work with a strong work ethic.
